No new posts in awhile, even though I have been shooting like crazy! These are a few weeks old, but we had such an incredible fall here I just had to post them. Now that we’ve gotten our first snow on the ground it’s nice to remember how beautiful it was, and will be again in about 11 months… :)

It is always a treat to have the opportunity to attend a photography workshop… They are full of inspiration and ideas, as well as (in general) fellow photogs that help to push each other’s creativity and drive each other to be better at what we do.
This summer I had the great please of taking a workshop with Eddie Soloway, a New Mexico photographer. His work is incredible, and you should check him out!
Here are a few shots I got during the workshop shoot. It’s more about mood and working with hard light (bright sun)… hope you enjoy – and other than the logo, these images have NOT been photoshopped!!

It’s been incredibly cold the last few days, which makes for miserable picture taking, but wonderful pictures! The light is always spectacular when we have below zero sunsets. Here are a couple pics snapped just outside of Anchorage along the Seward Highway – the most scenic drive in Alaska! And yes, the sunset around 3:45pm…
